THREE DAY TWO NIGHT HOWQUA RIVER RIDE

Experience the very best of Victoria’s High Country on this exciting two night, three day adventure. Begin your journey at our family-owned high country farming property, steeped in generations of history. From here, set off on horseback for the iconic “Man from Snowy River” experience, riding up to breathtaking panoramic views while keeping an eye out for native wildlife including kangaroos, wallabies, and majestic birdlife. Stop for a scenic lunch at our bush hut before traversing creek beds and open tracks to the Howqua River and the ‘Hideout’. The day concludes with a hearty roast dinner and a lively campfire under the stars, immersing you in the tranquility and beauty of the High Country.

On the second day, enjoy a cooked breakfast before following the high track along the river through Running Creek Reserve, taking in sweeping vistas and peaceful surroundings. Pause for a pack saddle lunch before returning along the river track with thrilling crossings and opportunities for gentle cantering. Relax back at the ‘Hideout’ with a delicious BBQ dinner and evening campfire. On the final day, after a wholesome country breakfast, ride to the famous “Kate Camerons Peak” to witness the legendary jump scene from the movie. Conclude your journey as you wind your way down to the valley floor, returning to the farmhouse for a satisfying lunch.
