Departing daily from Merchants Road in Galway outside Kinlay Hostel, this guided journey heads south along the Wild Atlantic Way to uncover some of Ireland’s most distinctive historical and natural landmarks. The first stop is the iconic 16th-century Dunguaire Castle in Kinvara, one of Ireland’s most photographed medieval strongholds. From here, the tour continues to the Hazel Mountain Chocolate factory, where visitors can enjoy a unique bean-to-bar experience and learn about artisan chocolate production.


Traveling deeper into the Burren, the route passes Corcomroe Abbey and the picturesque village of Ballyvaughan. The journey then continues across the region’s striking limestone landscape to Lisdoonvarna, a historic spa town known for its heritage and character.

Two of the most amazing geological features on Earth! The Cliffs are way larger than they look in photographs and are easily accessible via paved pathways. Just make sure you wear a windbreaker if you go there. As for the Burren, it's one of the most brilliantly preserved karsts on Earth.bit looks as if you're walking on the Moon!

Our guide Phil was awesome! Funny, knowledgeable, and knows everyone in the country I'm quite sure. The cliffs were spectacular and worth it alone but all the extra stops and tidbits were great. I think the first stop at Aliwa(?) could probably benefit from either more time, and actual experience, or being somewhere else as there isn't much to see or do there.
