Going for a walk around Howth Harbor is a very nice way to get some fresh air and some exercise. Plenty of parking available, as well as toilets ( well maintained) on both ends of the harbor.

Jude, The Marine biologist, was very interesting. This was more of an educational experience than a fishing tour. The area was over-crabbed; nine pods only produced 4 crabs that were legal to keep. The tour did not totally align with the description; there was no water to wash our hands, no wrench to lift the pods out of the water and no bathroom.

Great walkway opposite some fabulous restaurants.

Howth Pier is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, offering a refreshing coastal retreat just a short trip from Dublin. From the moment you step onto the waterfront, you’re greeted by the sight of seals playfully bobbing between the boats, adding a touch of magic to the experience. The walk along the pier is both peaceful and invigorating, with the salty sea breeze and panoramic views of the Irish coastline making it a must-do for nature lovers. Whether you’re here for a relaxing stroll, a seafood feast. Or simply to take in the scenery, Howth Pier never disappoints! It’s easy to see why this spot is a favorite among Duliners, the combination of fresh air, stunning views, and lively harbor life makes for an unforgettable visit. Don’t forget to stop by once of the local seafood spots to complete the perfect Howth experience!

We spent a day out in Howth. It was a windy day but we still wanted to have a walk on the Howth Pier. It was actually nice even though it was windy. To feel the fresh sea air. There are some great views. I am sure on a nice day the views are great. It was always a thing to get fish and chips and have it on the pier. Afterwards we did have fish and Chips in The House Restaurant nearby. Anyway it's a great walk. Will definitely be back to do it again.

Great way to spend and afternoon. Easy walking and plenty more restaurants, shops, markets, coffee shops and pubs. Love Howth!
