My trout was ok, although the beetroot mash was underwhelming. My wife ate the steak which came with very thick al dente pasta with no flavour. Service was friendly but slow as they were very busy.

Went with my wife for dinner on October 15. I had the most delicious fish I had ever eaten in my life, the "merluza negra", or Patagonian toothfish. It was served with a little bit of butter and olive oil; but the texture was so tender and the meat so juicy, that you felt compelled to keep on eating it. I was supposed to be at Calafate that night but the flight was cancelled; so the airline lodged us on a hotel across the street, the Tierra del Fuego Hotel. Talk about serendipity!

Still sitting here and have a Pisco! Absolutely the best dinner we had during our stay in Ushuaia! The Risotto with Crab and the beef was absolutely on taste. The derive team is stunning and very helpful! We will come again before finally leaving for home! 👍👍👍👍👍

I can’t say enough good things about this place! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The vibe is both cozy and stylish—perfect for a night out or a casual dinner. The food? Absolutely incredible. Every dish we tried was full of flavor and beautifully presented. You can tell they put real thought and creativity into the menu—there’s a unique twist to everything, making it a truly original culinary experience. The service was just as impressive. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food they’re serving. You really feel taken care of without being rushed. To top it all off, the location is fantastic—easy to get to, with plenty to explore nearby. If you’re looking for a place that delivers on all fronts—great food, great service, originality, and atmosphere—this is it. Highly recommend!

This restaurant was outstanding from start to finish. The meal began with delicious bread that set the tone for the rest of the experience. The soup of the day—a beetroot soup—was bursting with amazing flavor. The chicken curry risotto was unlike anything I’ve tried before, truly unique and memorable. For dessert, the almond orange cake was perfectly executed, one of the rare places that gets it just right. The service was also excellent; we had no issues at all, unlike what some other reviewers mentioned. I’d recommend this place wholeheartedly, even on my deathbed!
