Take a bow whoever keeps this thing alive - it also smells amazing. A few people intent on ruining photos by basically leaning on the railing ... Like for ever talking on their phone ... But eventually the sprinklers come on and clear them out. Pretty cool installation!

Whoever is responsible for maintaining this sculpture must have a rather interesting job. In terms of creativity the people responsible in Bilbao really cannot be faulted. Located right next to the Guggenheim Museum and several beautiful bridges over the Nervión, this imaginative sculpture further enhances the cityscape.

Cooler in the later afternoon, we got the open top bus that was hop on and hop off for 24 hours so we used it to get around the city and see the sites.

For me the icon of Bilbao. What a beautiful and happy Terrrier piece of art by Jeff Koons, majestically waiting for you by the entrance of the Guggenheim 🐕 Although I do think it looked ever cuter in the past?

Got to see this puppy this morning. Although it was too early in the year to see it in full bloom, it was still a sight to behold. It was also nice to see all the wild life living in it, lots of different birds. Well worth a visit if you find yourself in Bilbao.
