Excellent experience, lovely walk through the factory from above, very nice staff. Lovely painting of chocolate elephant at the end. With loads of chocolate tasting along the way. My 4 and 5 year old loved it.

I recently joined Butlers – The Chocolate Factory Tour and had a fantastic experience. Our guide Greg was excellent – very knowledgeable, engaging, and made the whole tour both fun and informative. The insights into the chocolate-making process were fascinating, and the hands-on parts added a special touch. The tasting was, of course, a real highlight. Highly recommended for anyone who loves chocolate!

Amazing! Our tour guide, Nadine, was phenomenal! This is the best European chocolate! I used to break out really bad with American chocolate, but since I only consume European chocolate (especially Butler’s , Cadbury, and Belgium), I’ve never had another acne breakout. But, that being said, Butler’s is my favorite. Thanks for the wonderful, high quality, chocolate, The hot chocolate, champagne, gin, and whisky chocolates are amazing! Update: Okay, it’s August 11, 2025, and I have stored my Butler’s Chocolate in my deep freezer. So, today, I decided to open the “Marc de Champagne Menu”, and it did not disappoint. The Champagne Sparkle was on point; the Classic, rich and deserving of a slow savor; the Pink Marc de Champagne Cocktail, had a wicked kick; and the Mimosa Magnific was like the polite guest that took a bow as he/she left (not my favorite, but still good). The pictures can’t do the taste any justice, but I’m so happy I didn’t walk away from this purchase. And honestly, the trip was so exciting that I can’t remember if I found this box of chocolate in the factory or at the Malahide Castle store. I’m sure it was at the castle. In any case, the chocolate had to be shared in pieces to be fair to the family.💕

Great tour for parents with young families! Kids love the interactive chocolate museum, dressing as chocolatiers, and painting their own chocolate elephant with "white chocolate paint". Enjoy free hot chocolate samples and a fun factory tour. The onsite café/store offers delicious chocolate treats to take home or consume right then! A no cost, must-visit place in Dublin for families.

Interesting tour- informative and knowledgeable guides. We even got to “paint” our own chocolate elephant to take as a souvenir.
