Barcelona Sunset Sailing Experience Blends Coastal Views with Gin Workshop

A sunset sailing experience along Barcelona’s coastline is offering visitors a relaxed and social way to enjoy the Mediterranean at golden hour. Departing on a catamaran or cruising sailboat depending on group size, the trip combines scenic views of the city skyline with a laid-back atmosphere shaped by sea breeze and curated Chill Out music.

As the boat glides across the water, guests take in panoramic views of Barcelona’s illuminated coastline. Depending on sea conditions, participants may also have the opportunity to swim in the open Mediterranean, adding a refreshing element to the evening journey as the sun sets over the horizon.

The experience continues on board with a guided gin and tonic workshop, introducing guests to premium spirits, aromatic botanicals, and modern mixing techniques. Featured brands include Hendrick’s, Martin Miller’s, Gin Mare, and Tanqueray, paired with tonics such as Fever-Tree, Nordic, and Fentimans, offering a diverse tasting experience.

On the return to port, the workshop explores molecular gin techniques, including cold infusions, smoked preparations, botanical pairings, and alcohol-free alternatives. After disembarkation, guests are free to continue their evening in Barcelona, carrying forward the relaxed energy and social atmosphere of the sunset cruise.

What a great day! Smooth motoring for quite a while. Captain Jose shared info about the wind conditions and safety factors. Great people and great food onboard. We all shared cameras and photo-ops. Then, for about ten minutes, Jose cut the engine and unfurled the jib. We cruised along in silence and amazement in the late sunshine, giddy like school kids. Unforgettable. Thank you.

We had a fantastic experience! 🌊 Our captain, Cris, was wonderful – very friendly and professional. He even allowed us to learn not only how to steer the boat but also how its functions work, which made the trip even more special. The people on board were extremely kind and created a warm, friendly atmosphere. We would definitely love to experience this again – highly recommended! 🚤✨

We LOVED this experience, it was the perfect way to end our trip in Barcelona. The staff were amazing, we something else booked for the afternoon and they made sure we were back in Barcelona on time. The sailing is wonderful and so was the wine farm. Would highly recommend!
