A beautiful station with a nice garden and a large waiting room. Took us 2 minutes to have our tickets checked and get to the train but leave longer ideally.

Simple and easy to navigate train station. I arrived here from Ollantaytambo. Aguas Calientes is a very cute and beautiful town nestled in the mountains and greenery, with river streams cross cutting the town. Locals were friendly. Safe town and cute kids playing and running around on their own. If you have time, I recommend staying here a few nights!

Machu Picchu Station is the place where all tourists will begin or end their journey to Machu Picchu. The station itself is a bit chaotic, but assuming you have your ticket and passport readily available you should be able to get aboard the train. The train itself was fantastic, with great views and a full bar service available. Great fun.

Machu Picchu Station was the perfect beginning and end to one of the most magical journeys of my life. Like the entire trip, it felt wondrous—surrounded by breathtaking scenery, lush mountains, and the energy of something ancient and unforgettable. The station itself is charming and well-organized, with friendly staff and a cozy, local feel. It’s more than just a transportation hub—it’s part of the experience. The moment you step off the train, you feel the magic of what’s to come. Truly unforgettable.

Machu picchu station is very, very accessible. Buy a bridge which is connected from the plaza square. It has very good directions. Tickets need to be bought in advance and the Passport shown at the entrance. It has beautifully decorated walls and instructions. Systematically boarding is expedited as soon as the train arrives. It is very systematic and easy. Very, very impressed as a tourist love. The Peru rail and also the voyager. The luxury train must visit machu picchu
