Begin your journey with a tasting of four organic wines, perfectly paired with an exquisite selection of local cured meats and cheeses. The tasting takes place in the winery’s cellar, where you’ll learn about their sustainable approach to winemaking, including the use of native yeasts, spontaneous fermentations, and zero added sulfites. These wines, including varieties like Armancione and Ughetto, are crafted from indigenous Tuscan grapes such as Trebbiano Toscano, Procanico, Ansonica, Sangiovese, Ciliegiolo, and Colorino, reflecting the estate's deep respect for tradition and nature. Accompanying the wines, you’ll savor aged pecorino cheeses, a variety of cured meats including aged sausage, prosciutto, guanciale, and aromatic lardo, along with fruit preserves, sauces, and fresh bread. The tasting experience is completed with the renowned "Biscotto Salato di Roccalbegna," a Slow Food Presidium product that embodies the region’s rich culinary heritage. After the tasting, take an optional walk through the estate’s historic terraced vineyards, located just a short distance away, where you’ll learn about the suitability of the land for native grape varieties. Following the vineyard visit, enjoy a leisurely stroll through the picturesque medieval village of Roccalbegna, nestled at an altitude of 522 meters in the heart of Maremma. This charming village, with its fortress ruins and the Albegna River source, offers a glimpse into centuries of local history and culture. For underage guests, a refreshing local fruit juice will be provided as an alternative to wine. This experience combines authentic flavors, natural beauty, and centuries of Tuscan tradition in one unforgettable visit.

This was one of the best experiences we had on our trip! Me and my wife enjoyed a lovely dinner, while chatting with Raffaello and his wife. If you have time, you should definitely try this experience. Try his wines and (very) delicious balsamic vinegar and olive oil! The passion and love for his vineyard is so comforting, almost like going to your own granddad and grandmother! Me and my wife enjoyed this so much and we tried to find something similar, but there is nothing like this!! It's so nice, a must go!

Heard from friends that did a wine tasting over here that this was an amazing spot. Contacted Rafaello via WhatsApp, an got quick answer back that we were very welcome to taste his wines with matching food, and that we could stay at the vineyard with our car with rooftent! The food and wine were truly amazing, and the personal touch of Rafaello and his wife made this a memorable experience. Highly recommended! Grazie Mille!

What a wonderful day. We started with a glass of sparkling wine on the terrace chatting with some other guests looking out over the beautiful views, then we walked through the vines and olive trees back to our table for a 4 course tasting, starting with olive oil and the most delicious balsamic vinegar as well as a beautifully light white wine. We then tasted rose and red wines with more small plates of food all of which were delicious. It really was a perfect day and can thoroughly recommend it to anyone. Raffaello, his wife and his team really were brilliant hosts and clearly have a passion for their wine and their local food.

My partner and I did the wine tasting experience here. It was an absolutely amazing experience. Atmosphere was welcoming. We learned a lot about what it’s like being a winemaker and setting up a vineyard. We enjoyed delicious homemade meals made from produce from the garden and enjoyed so many delicious wines. The setting was beautiful. This is a hidden gem. Would come again absolutely.

You’re going to want to check this place out! We were recommended A Solatio for having the best olive oil in the area, and it did not disappoint. We sat inside for a wine and olive oil tasting and were treated to an intimate tasting experience. Raffaello was friendly and attentive, and we enjoyed chatting with him. We couldn’t pass on having some of the delicious wine and olive oil shipped back to the states. The truffle honey they make is also not to be missed - it’s divine on pecorino. If we had more time, we would’ve arranged to do the dinner tasting where wines are paired with homemade dishes - the menu looked incredible. Highly recommend!
