Step into the heart of Bari’s old town and find a welcoming, historic wine shop that invites you to pause, unwind, and savor the essence of Puglia. This intimate, family-run establishment offers an authentic wine tasting experience right in the center of the city—no need for countryside detours or long drives. Here, glasses are filled with expressive wines, and stories flow as easily as the local wines themselves. You’ll be guided by a passionate wine expert through a tasting of four distinct wines, each carefully selected to showcase the diverse flavors of Southern Italy—from crisp, coastal whites to bold, sun-drenched reds. As you sip, you’ll learn about the winemaking process, the regions, and the generations of winemakers who’ve preserved tradition while embracing innovation. To complement the wines, you’ll enjoy a carefully curated platter of local food pairings: cured meats, cheeses, seasonal jams, fresh bread, and warm focaccia straight from the oven. Each bite is designed to enhance the flavors in your glass, giving you a true taste of the region’s culinary heritage. The atmosphere is laid-back and personal—there are no formal lectures, just friendly conversation, insightful wine education, and space to ask questions, share impressions, and connect with local culture. Whether visiting solo, as a couple, or with friends, this wine tasting offers a chance to rest, savor, and enjoy the true flavor of Bari, one glass at a time.

Friendly and flexible. Perfect located.

The wines were of good quality, and surprisingly good. Unfortunately, the wine was poured at a fast pace. The glasses were still half full, and the others were already filled. We got a platter with cold cuts and cheese. It would've been better to tell us which wine would go with which snack

If you want to taste good wines from Puglia then you have to visit Enoteca del Centro in Bari, very good selection in a cozy place with friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Went for an ad hoc wine tasting at this superb place. Had 3 different wines, 6 b between us both, and all very good quality. They also do food, and it looked like a great menu. Well worth a visit

Hands down best wine bar in Puglia! Incredible and attentive service, providing knowledgable recommendations. Very expansive wine selection with a cool interior including an exposed floor to their basement wine cellar. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Stopped for a glass of wine as impressed by their choice, ended up having food, great selection of cheeses and loved their orange "jam". Service was outstanding so we have returned. Highly recommended.

The food we had was fantastic. As we are English speaking, Luca meticulously explained to us his menu. He takes pride in the effort he puts to source the freshest, seasonal ingredients. That definitely translated to the amazing dishes we had. The wine menu is extensive as well. This was a truly memorable meal.
