We really enjoyed our visit to The Splatter Room. Such a great alternative activity to do! Reasonably priced, and friendly staff with great tips and ideas to help tease out your creativity. Will definitely be going back!
Kids loved it so much. Ladies running this are lovely and kids from 6 to 14 had a ball. I quite fancy a go as well! Do it!
My son had a super fun paint party at the Splatter Room. Everything was ready when we arrived - and Effy had even put up balloons which added to the atmosphere. The kids had a great time firing, squirting, throwing and launching paint on to their canvases. We had 12 children painting. There were two members of staff on hand in the room constantly to help / supervise. Boxing up their masterpieces and hand washing was a very well coordinated and they all left clean! Only the shoes got messy otherwise the ponchos and googles did a great job. Those who finished sooner could do colouring to keep them entertained. Would love to go back for the adult experience.
We had such a brilliant time at The Splatter Room in Saffron Walden! It’s such a fun, creative, and different activity to have right in the town centre, and my daughter absolutely loved every minute of it. The guy who served us was so friendly and welcoming, and he explained everything really clearly to her (she’s 4) It was lovely to just let loose and splatter paint – such a refreshing and unique thing to do locally. The only thing we thought was that it might feel even more fun if there were a few other people there too; we were the only ones during our session, so apart from the music there wasn’t much of an atmosphere. At £28 per person for 40 minutes on quite a small canvas, it does feel a little on the pricey side, so for us it’s probably more of a one-off treat rather than something we’d do regularly. That said, we had a wonderful time and are really glad we tried it – it’s definitely a great addition to the town and worth checking out if you’re looking for something creative and different to do!
So much fun. There is so many weird and wacky painting /splattering utensils /brushes /shapes... My inner kid really came out! My partner went for a fun date night but could see all ages having fun there whether it be a group of friends, a work do or even something fun to do with the kids during summer holidays. Couldn't recommend highly enough as after the first master piece being on my wall I'm keen to go bigger and better next time!
