Pick up at the port and begin the day with an enriching journey to one of Vietnam’s most fascinating archaeological treasures, the My Son Sanctuary. This ancient site, nestled in a lush valley surrounded by towering mountains, was once the spiritual and political heart of the Champa Kingdom between the 4th and 13th centuries. Influenced by Indian Hinduism, the Champa civilization built an extraordinary collection of tower-temples dedicated to Hindu deities. Originally constructed from wood, the temples were destroyed by fire in the 6th century and later rebuilt using locally made bricks by King Sambhuvarman in the 7th century. Over the centuries, My Son became a sacred religious center, with more than 70 temples constructed to honor the gods. In 1999, My Son was recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage Site, a testament to its historical and cultural significance.
