I took part in the ASA 101 at Harbor Island location, great course, relaxed teacher. The Seaforth staff have a great attitude and helpful. I also rented a sail boat from them Capri 22, the process of renting was great and I had a great time. I highly recommend the ASA101 course and Seaforth provides it at a good price. I will be back for more courses. Thank you
The whole crew is really great. They are very attentive and I highly recommend their sailing club. Also they teach many ASA courses here and have wonderful instructors. I recommend JJ for classes. I sail here almost every weekend and enjoy their selection of boats and their location. Jack does an outstanding job at the dock sending boats outs and bringing them back in and always keeping them tidy. He's very knowledgeable and professional and can always help out. 5/5
The Seaforth Harbor Island location is hands down the best place to rent a boat -- any kind of boat you could need -- and spend a day on the bay. Robust inventory and very reasonable rates. As important, the staff there are top notch. Highly recommended!
I have had an AMAZING experience with Seaforth. I got my ASA 101 certification through their 2 day course and got blessed with a really nice crew and a very knowledgeable instructor. Brendan was very patient with my group and explained everything very well. If someone didn’t fully understand a certain topic, he would take the extra time to explain it in a different way to help us understand it, which I really appreciated. After doing some research, I joined their sailing club because I found it to be the best value in the area. Each time I’ve booked a rental, Jessica has been extremely kind and helpful, making it a great experience leaving and returning to the dock. I am extremely thankful I took my certification course through Seaforth and have been beyond appreciative for the care that their team gives. It truly makes for an enjoyable time entering a new hobby/lifestyle.
Great boat rental and excellent service. It was an unforgettable evening with amazing sunset views. With the pandemic, there’s not a lot of open air activities that are still operating. Sunset cruise from Seaforth is definitely one of the best outdoor activities now. With fantastic view of the bay of San Diego and the mesmerizing sunset scenery, we had a lot of funs. Starting from embarking the boat, our skipper was super friendly. He tried to accommodate all of our needs and gave us extra 15 minutes cruise time. He brought us to the bay and went through the Coronado bridge. While going through the bridge we had one of most speculate sunset views. With the bridge as the forth ground, we took so many stunning sunset pictures. We also were able to see the navel base from a distance. I was awed by the awesome warships on display. So proud to be an American. As we coming back from the bay cruise, with the sun disappeared into darkness, the beautiful skyline of downtown San Diego lit up. Another picture taking opportunity for us. Overall, this was an awesome evening for all of us. Thank you Seaforth for giving us an amazing evening. Parking was easy as Seaforth rental area has its own parking lot. But the cost was a bit high.
