My husband and I booked a morning excursion to go snorkeling with Happy Fish Catamarans and we are SO happy that we did! From booking, we immediately had great communication regarding transportation, what to bring, etc. Being in a country we aren’t familiar with, transportation was a must. Our driver showed up on time and dropped us off/pick us up at the beach where the boat was. We had David and Crispy as our guides for the day- I can not recommend them enough! David had an absolutely amazing attitude, cared about guest safety, and was very knowledgeable on the sea life we saw. Crispy was our captain and made bomb guacamole that we ate after our snorkeling at the reef (such a refreshing treat). Having these two absolutely made our trip that much better. We stopped to snorkel at the reef, where at first we were the only boat there and saw so many fish. Two other boats came and left, while we were still in the water snorkeling! Then we stopped at a shallow, sandbar area where we got out and were able to go around on the paddle board. I would highly recommend Happy Fish Catamarans to anyone who wants to snorkel in Punta Cana. 10/10 experience for us, we would definitely do this again.
Happy Fish Catamaran was the BEST part of our trip to Punta Cana, we did a private boat for 8 people. The Happy Fish Team, Jorge, Sosa and JC were amazing - making sure that we had a fun, fabulous experience. The boat was clean, the snacks and drinks were strong and tasty! Transportation was on time. Would highly recommend! The only thing to watch - nothing to do with Happy Fish - the vendors as you enter/leave - might have taken advantage of our inebriated selves (pro tip buy your Rum at the duty free at the airport)
Great experience! The crew was awesome, especially Sosa. We only had 6 total people on a boat listed as 72 capacity. It felt like we had our own private yacht. The snorkeling was great, plus we saw a see turtle as well! Just be cautious - there are some pretty pushy sales people in the shops that you have to walk by on your way out to the boats. They will offer you “free” gifts and then after accepting the gift, they require you to come into the store to buy something or else the gift is no longer free.
We had the GREATEST time on our catamaran cruise with Happy Fish! We were three families, and from start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. The incredible crew — David, Sosa, and George — made the entire experience unforgettable. One we will never forget! They went out of their way to make sure everyone was having a blast. The vibes, the views, the music, the drinks, the laughter — it was all just amazing. If you're looking for the perfect day on the water, this is it. Highly, highly recommend!
This was a highlight of our trip!! We booked online the day before and the team at Happy Fish immediately reached out to arrange our pickup from our Air BNB. When the service was running only a couple minutes late due to traffic, they were even incredibly communicative then. The boat and staff were the best and it was so nice to not be on one of the boats that crams 50+ people on it. The staff were so attentive to every need or want and made sure everyone had a great time. The only negative was that we did not sail. The way in which these boats navigate around the reefs and other boats though it makes sense why we couldn’t. The snorkeling was unbelievable, there were so many beautiful fish that swim right up to you. Truly amazing and would recommend to anyone!
Good. Crew was helpful. Only six adults, as we signed up for. Activities as described. Pick-up late but turned out OK. Return was prompt. Snorkeling spot was seriously overcrowded w/ 8 boats of passengers there together. Decent fish & coral. OK lunch & nice selection of beverages.
