Extremely comfortable bed, brilliant powerful shower, cozy & clean room and nice complimentary water, coffee & snacks. The check in and out process was very easy and the location was perfect with a lovely view out of the window. A perfect stay.
We booked the room for 4 days. Breakfast was quite good. It has other meal deals also. Room was comfortable & bus stations is just across the road. Different buses including sightseeing stop here. Check the timmings & dates for sightseeing bus. A halal buffet resturant..buffet tonight ...( 18 pound ) with more than 50 items ,is 100 meters away in red dragon mall, with a cinema..games for kids & bowling alley.
I love a premier inn. The rooms are always clean and well looked after, the team do their job and the locations are often well placed. But sadly Cardiff Bay was disappointing. For a chain that really pushes the comfort of their beds I think perhaps this locations needs some new ones. Lumpy. So unbelievably lumpy, with a little bit of torn bedding to match - nothing awful. If the bed had been comfortable and I got a good nights sleep I’d probably have not even noticed.
A nice three night stay at this Premier Inn. The room was typical of this chain, clean and had good facilities. The restaurant is fine with reasonable quality food for the cost. The only negatives I had was one of the lifts wasn’t working so there was a bit of a wait occasionally, but the bigger issue for me was the adjoining car park (not theirs) is very cramped for larger cars and quite expensive. The hotel does not have its own parking available.
The location is excellent, only need to cross the road to be in the Bay Area. All the staff were very lovely and helpful. Great deal on the breakfast, 2 kids eat free when one adult buys a hot breakfast. I marked down as the rooms don’t have air con and the windows don’t open so the whole family really struggled to sleep as the room was so hot with no way to cool down. If the windows could open, even a couple of inches, the stay would have been perfect. Also the hotel doesn’t offer a great view so bare this in mind when booking. I would definitely stay again but not in the summer months, when it’s far too hot in the rooms.
