Sunday Lunch experience:- Beautifully decorated for Christmas with candles lighting and a stunning open fire lighting in the Barton Bar. We ate in the castle room which had its own unique ambience! Food was lovely and service was professional (a treat in itself these days unfortunately). The garden bar area looked quite busy when we passed through.... that speaks for itself!

My family recently celebrated my Mam's birthday at Barberstown Castle. What a magnificent time! Thank you to the brilliant Austin, and the wonderful staff at @barberstowncastlehotel and @amanda.torrens.3386 for the most wonderful few hours we shared together over a beautiful lunch and bubbly. Your kindness was absolutely astounding! We will all be back! 🥂 🌹🍕🍮🎂

Had an initial bad experience- booked a de-luxe room . On entering , strong smoking smell and housekeeping left windows open to vent . Then a total No No - toilet seat completely broken at one hinge - again a housekeeping issue . Receptionist immediately offered different room that was fine and night manager was hugely apologetic. Spacious rooms , mattress a tad soft but comfortable. Bar food and dinner was also fine . No electricity charging units on large parking site which is disappointing. A nice weekend break with some issues !!
