Our journey begins with a visit to Falkirk, where we’ll stop to admire the Kelpies—towering at 30 meters tall, these are the largest equine sculptures in the world. As we stroll peacefully along the Forth and Clyde Canal, we’ll uncover the fascinating mythology behind these legendary water spirits and learn how artist Andy Scott brought them to life as a tribute to the strength and spirit of the working horses that once powered Scotland’s industrial past.
Next, we’ll head to the breathtaking Loch Katrine, one of Scotland’s most picturesque and beloved lakes. Surrounded by serene landscapes and steeped in legend, this loch has inspired generations of visitors, including the famed author Sir Walter Scott, whose works helped shape Scotland’s cultural identity. It’s also tied to the story of Scottish hero Rob Roy and was famously admired by Queen Victoria herself, making it a truly magical stop on our scenic route.

Feeding Hyland cows, amazing scenery, rainbows, and cruising on Loch Ness were part of our magical 3-day tour to the Isle of Skye from Glasgow. Our guide Fin was amazing. He was so knowledgeable, and he has a great way of telling stories. The music he played really added to the “Scottish Experience”. The first day was modern versions of traditional songs, the 2nd day was contemporary Scottish artists, and the third day was an eclectic mix. It was fun staying in the little village of Broadford on the Isle of Skye. Fin dropped us off at our AirBnB each evening and had great restaurant recommendations. He was always on time to pick us up in the morning. The mini bus was clean and comfortable with huge windows. It was nice to have a small group. It was so relaxing to have someone else drive and watch the beautiful scenery. There were lots of photo stops and the breaks for lunch gave enough time to walk around or do some shopping. Everything was thoughtfully planned out. We exchanged several emails with Gavin while planning our trip. He always responded quickly and gave us great advice. There was clear communication about the size of luggage to bring. We were on a several week trip, so we had to store our larger bag. They recommended a great luggage service that picked up our large bag at our Glasgow hotel, stored it, and returned it to us at the airport hotel. It was so convenient! We can’t wait to go back to Scotland and try one of Discover Scotland’s other tours.

We had a wonderful experience exploring Glenfinnan, Glencoe, and Loch Shiel with Kieran as our tour guide. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and always ready to help, which made the entire trip smooth and enjoyable. Watching the Jacobite steam train pass over the Glenfinnan Viaduct had always been a dream of mine, and thanks to Kieran's planning and timing, we got the perfect view — it was truly magical. The journey through the Highlands was peaceful and scenic, with plenty of opportunities to soak in the beauty of the landscape. Kieran shared interesting facts and stories along the way, adding depth to the experience without overwhelming us with information. Overall, it was a memorable day, and Kieran’s guidance played a big role in making it so special.

I chose the 3-day Isle of Skye, Highlands, and Loch Ness tour because it included all the spots I wanted to see while visiting Scotland and it turned out absolutely incredible! Our guide, Gary, was fun, knowledgeable, and incredibly accommodating. He went above and beyond by adding in extra activities, surprise treats, and unplanned stops that weren’t even advertised on the tour site. Because it was a smaller group, we quickly bonded with the other travelers over the 3 days, which made the experience even more special. The van was spacious and very comfortable, and the Discover Scotland team was fantastic to deal with from start to finish. When I had a mishap with my overnight accommodation (completely my fault), the team was responsive and genuinely helpful in resolving it. This tour exceeded my expectations in every way. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Scotland, and I’d even happily go on it again myself, it was worth every penny! I went at the end of September and in my opinion it was an amazing time to go!

I went on my first trip alone to Scotland and was very excited. It was very important to me to organize structured daily plans. So I decided to book two guided day tours. My internet research led me to the top-rated company “Discover Scotland Tour.” I booked the one-day tours from Glasgow, “Glenfinnan Viaduct, Glencoe, and Loch Shiel” with Marc and “Oban, Western Highlands, Lochs, Castles & Glencoe” with Karen. And what can I say... I'm thrilled, I always felt safe and happy. Both tour guides are absolutely fantastic, humorous, and provide very helpful and interesting information during the tour. It was exciting and everything was perfectly timed and organized. Truly exceptional, high praise indeed. I would book with Discover Scotland Tour again on my next trip and recommend this incredible experience to everyone. It's definitely worth it! The price/performance ratio is unbeatable! Thank you for these unforgettable and wonderful experiences, dear team!

I went on a one-day Loch Ness and Highlands tour, and let me just say—it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Our tour guide, Tony, was absolutely fantastic. He was friendly, welcoming, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the entire trip. What I really appreciated was that Tony went above and beyond—stopping at beautiful spots that weren’t even on the itinerary so we could take great photos and enjoy the journey without it feeling long or tiring. He was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating stories and insights about Scotland, its people, and its culture—all while keeping things lighthearted and funny. He even offered to take photos of us, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The vehicle itself was very well-maintained and comfortable, making it perfect for a long day trip. Honestly, I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone visiting Scotland. You’re guaranteed to have a memorable experience, and I know for sure I’ll be coming back for more tours in the future.
