This is a fun activity to check out. It's a 40-minute walk (uphill) to the waterfall. There is a photographer who takes photos throughout the activity, in case you choose not to bring your phone. My friends and I paid $15 USD each for the pictures (cash or PayPal). It was worth it, as the cameraman captured every action throughout the event.

I am the biggest baby when it comes to cardio and cold water, my tour guide can agree with that. I've had a fear of cold water since I was a kid, and I didn't know the waterfalls were cold. At least my husband and mother had fun, I had to be lifted down each time. Now when u enter this place you better have the cardio in you bc you climb so many stairs and up hills that I almost called it quits. It was still fun but I'm a wuss.

Beautiful place I took the 7 waterfall trail ad the 27 one was closed If the zip line open as well its a no Brainer to take it Very cheap too!! 12$ for the 7 falls trail You can bring a dry bad for your things but the instructors will have one to put everyone's things I would suggest to take a waterproof phone case as there are beautiful places to photograph there :)

We visited when on a cruise with NCL. We did not book through the ship as it was double the price. This was our favorite activity we did in the short period we visited the DR. Bring comfortable water shoes. On your way back walking through those rocks is brutal. My water shoes were pretty close to flat and had no grip. The hike wasn’t too bad. They allow you to stop and rest as needed. I would recommend coming early. It was very crowded and I’m sure it had a lot to do with the fact that a lot of the people from the ship were also doing the same excursion. Nonetheless it was still beautiful and we still enjoyed the scenery.

I recently booked an excursion to the Damajagua Waterfalls through Norwegian Escape, and it was an unforgettable experience! From start to finish, everything was well-organized and enjoyable. The tour began with a scenic 25-minute bus ride through the Dominican Republic countryside. Our guides were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, sharing interesting facts along the way and making sure everyone was comfortable. Once we arrived at the park, we were provided with helmets and life jackets. Lockers were available to rent if you needed to store your belongings securely. After gearing up, we started a nature-filled hike that lasted about 10–15 minutes each way. Don’t underestimate the hike—it’s short but gets your heart pumping! Thankfully, there were four guides with us, so no one ever felt left behind. Midway through the hike, we had a short break where one of the instructors introduced us to a cacao fruit. He even opened it up and let us sample the fresh fruit, which was a fun and unique touch. The guides took plenty of photos and videos throughout the journey, capturing all the special moments. Once we reached the waterfall, we were rewarded with a chance to swim, cool off, and truly enjoy the beauty of the falls. After the swim, we hiked back the same way, returned our gear, and had the option to purchase a USB with all the pictures and videos taken during the tour. The cost was $45, and the USB includes photos of the entire group, so you’ll need to sort through and keep the ones you want later. Overall, this was a beautiful and memorable experience that I would absolutely do again. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
