I took my 5 year old on today's morning boat and we had such an amazing time! We managed to see both dolphins and some Minke whales :D The captain (Jerry?) was amazing at keeping us looking in the right place and was great at answering the questions that my 5 year old had! Would totally recommend!
We had an absolutely lovely whale watching tour with Jerry! He was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about watching whales and sharing his knowledge it made our day! It is a very unique experience watching second largest mammal on earth and a must do at least once in a lifetime. Would surely recommend to anyone who likes wildlife.
We went with Jerry from Aquaventures's Wave Chieftain boat. He took us to the spots where we can watch whales and dolphins. He was really the best at his job. He has so much information to share and he does it so so well. He was equally excited yet calm when we spotted whales. He had quite a lot of experience in this job. He extended our trip duration just to spot a different whale which we didn't see in our trip. I enjoyed it a lot and surely will go there again. Most certainly with Wave Chieftain and Jerry.
We had amazing experience with Jerry. He is enthusiastic and was constantly in touch with other tours to spot Whales, Dolphins. He was attentive and gave information about animals. Would highly recommend booking this tour as He went above and beyond to make sure we had good experience. He even turned around and extended the tour because we were spotting a different whale.
Sadly we didn’t have a good experience 😔 Boat trip was booked for 19th June, we only saw 2 seals. No dolphins or whales. The boat trip is made so that you go around looking to spot something & tell the captain where to head over if you see something. No commentary on geography, wildlife history during the trip, just at the beginning it’s told what can be seen. It’s a shame since the company cannot guarantee you would see something at all, but the trip itself could be at least more entertaining other than just looking at the sea till you see something. Sorry, do not normally write 3 star review, it’s been a while I don’t feel satisfied with a service. Hope there is not so many experiences of this kind!
