Much better on a weekday. Weekends are stupid busy. Sensory overload. Difficult to move around it’s so crowded. Queues for popular stalls can be 50+ people which fouls traffic.

I don't need to tell you... You've seen the videos, heard the recommendations and I'm just here to confirm it's as wonderful here as people say and the videos look. Vibrant is the word. It's also insanely crowded, but people are pretty polite. Inspiring and delicious. I live in Seattle, so I have a pretty high bar for market spectacle because I grew up with Pike Place. But Borough easily won my heart and I loved it. My stomach isn't big enough.

Lots of fun, fab food, great atmosphere. We tried a range of food from different stalls. Oysters, Thai, Mex, Fruit store, Crumble shop. Great for adults on Saturday but would not recommend children as it gets very busy and cramped so kids may get squashed while walking through market.

We had a 12 hour layover on our way back to Canada, caught the tub to do some exploring. Came upon this market! What a feast for the eyes and senses. If we weren’t there on a layover, I would have shopped and shopped. Meat, bread, cheese, fruit and vegetables, honey, the selection was phenomenal. Next time we are in the areas, this will be number one on my to do list ✅

Borough Market is a wonderful marketplace offering a wide variety of enticing foods and ingredients. They have seafood, fruits, bakeries, chocolates, and even Thai dishes like Pad Thai, Khanom Krok, Massaman curry, and sticky rice with mango. I purchased some handmade chocolates to taste, and they were delicious.
