Known for pushing boundaries, the distillery has partnered with The Chocolatarium—an acclaimed Edinburgh chocolatier—to create handcrafted truffles infused with Holyrood’s own single malts. Upon arrival, guests are welcomed into the warm and inviting Lounge, where they can relax, meet their host, and learn about Holyrood’s unique philosophy and experimental methods. The guided tasting features three Founding Series single malts, each paired with a decadent, whisky-infused chocolate truffle designed to complement and enhance the spirit’s character.
As your host explains the malts, yeasts, and casks behind each expression, you’ll explore how flavour, craftsmanship, and creativity intersect. Guests are encouraged to share tasting notes, discuss pairings, and enjoy the sociable atmosphere. You’ll also be invited to the Distillery bridge for a striking bird’s-eye view of the copper stills—an ideal moment for photos. The experience concludes in the Distillery Bar, where you may choose to enjoy a final dram or nightcap, rounding off an indulgent and memorable evening.
