We had an amazing market tour of the Sant'Ambrogio market and the surrounding area with Alice. She lives in the neighborhood and is a true local, and she took the time to explain the history of the area, current challenges, and of course all of the amazing street food (who knew lampredotto was so delicious? only all of Florence). It lived up to everything we expect with a Streaty tour, and we highly recommend this tour when you are in Florence!

What an amazing experience! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable — the perfect mix of humor, history, and passion for local food. You can tell this team really knows their stuff. Every stop felt authentic and full of character — from the hidden gems to the lively markets. Booking was super easy, and the staff were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. We came from Canada, and our (University of Toronto) group was absolutely blown away by how smoothly everything went. We did the street food tour in Florence. Alice was fantastic and shared a lot of local spots and flavours with us. We learnt a lot about the history behind each dish and about the vendors too. The dishes we tried were very authentic and Alice also gave us tips on what to look out for in regards to what is local and what is touristy when we eat at other restaurants in the region. It was our first food tour and we adored it. Small group size but lots of treats and fun. Would 100% recommend and would love to do more of these tours in the future!
