We did the Santa Ana volcano tour, our guide was great, full of historical knowledge, and interesting information. Also had a great attitude, and picked us up from our hotel. Highly recommend.

Eco tours exceeded all our expectations! Herbert was an outstanding tour guide, but an even nicer person! We were a family of 5 - four adults and one child. He came on time to pick us up at our Airbnb (this is a huge difference from other tours that ask you to arrive at a meeting location). In route to our first stop, he gave a great background and history of El Salvador including money, language and ancestry. Our day was long but extremely pleasant. On the way home, we asked to stop at the historical center. For a small up charge, Herbert not only went out of his way 25 minutes BUT waited for us and then safely brought us back to our Airbnb. This was customer service at its finest. I would highly recommend this tour company that really makes you feel like you’re traveling with family. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I took this tour on June 29th. I absolutely loved this tour. I had heard and seen a bit about this area Ruta de Las Flores online such as in videos on YouTube. It was one of my top must do spots before I leave. I am in El Salvador for the summer and if I had to leave right now I don’t even think I would be disappointed. The reason why is how enjoyable and meaningful this tour was to me. That means this was an outstanding impactful tour that I will not forget. So much history and information about the Ruta de las Flores and El Salvador as a whole was given by the guide Herbert. Herbert was punctual, professional, humble, friendly, energetic, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and made every second matter. He also was great at suggesting additional photo locations and the recommendation for lunch at restaurant Las Flores de Eloísa was outstanding. The food and atmosphere was incredible. I loved all the flower decor at the restaurant. My favorite stops were Ataco and Apaneca. Absolutely beautiful architecture. I actually want to visit and stay in Ataco in the future. I enjoyed the coffee tasting done there and another highlight was learning about the churches and differentiating between the ones built in the 18th and 19th century and even what certain shapes seen on the building means. I recommend 100 out of 100. This tour is beyond worth it. Thank you Eco Tours Petate. I definitely plan on booking again with them in the future.
