The Grouse Grind

Challenge yourself with one of Vancouver’s most iconic hikes the Grouse Grind, famously known as Mother Nature’s Stairmaster. Beginning at the base of Grouse Mountain, trail climbs almost in elevation and consists of 2,830 steps carved into the rugged mountain terrain. This is not a casual stroll it’s a full body workout through lush forests, steep inclines, and rocky paths that test your endurance and determination. Along the way, enjoy glimpses of the surrounding mountains and city below as you ascend through the cool shade of towering evergreens.

After about two hours of climbing, you’ll reach the summit, where breathtaking panoramic views and a sense of accomplishment await. At the top, relax and refuel with a delicious, well-deserved lunch, soaking in the alpine air and incredible scenery. Once ready, you’ll descend in comfort aboard the Grouse Mountain Skyride, gliding smoothly down the mountain while enjoying stunning aerial views of Vancouver, the Pacific Ocean, and the surrounding peaks.
