The view of the river is beautiful here from the deck extended into the river area. It's connected to a trail by the river so you can walk from that observation deck towards the bridge along the river on the trail while enjoying the Riverview which is amazing. There are people taking photos and also some chairs. You can have some rest. There is a big construction side on the left by the river. I think they're building residence area or probably a hotel because I see some restaurants on the first floor of the residence area and people are sitting there having dinner. It's very close to Vancouver downtown. There are also some posters elaborating the history of the trail. Some stairs on the trail. So if you're using the wheelchair maybe there is a problem. There are boats running on the river. I took some photo of it. It now also some very strange structures I don't know the usage.

Great spot for a relaxing sunset and a walk around the several social areas here. Family friendly as well especially the water features as they are a great spot for kids to play. Watching the train rumble across the bridge and aircraft land and takeoff from the airport is fun in itself. With all the new development coming to this area the waterfront will only become more essential to unwind from work.

While a friend was visiting from overseas, we planned a trip up to meet up with another friend who lives just up I-5 from Portland. As an easy rendezvous, we decided for lunch in downtown Vancouver. Now that construction is done, we found parking near the new waterfront area and stopped to see the new food spots and fun water play area for the kids to enjoy on a hot day. It is great how fresh and clean everything is, as well as the nice variety of shops, cafe’s and restaurants. There are many new and sparkly hotels along the main area here, so if you fly into Portland for work, you could easily find a clean room in a brand new hotel right on the Vancouver waterfront. This is a great place for a walk with your kids or even a new date. Thank you for reading my review and hope you have a wonderful visit to the new Vancouver waterfront Area. Have a beautiful day.

Pleasant water feature for kids to play in. Nice view and fine dining nearby (don't forget salt and straw for dessert). Watch the boats or just relax and people watch. It is a nice place to be. A rather docile bunny lives in the bushes and is seemingly ignored by the crowds walking by.

So pretty! Went over here from Portland where we were staying 8 min drive across the lift bridge to see the sunset on the pier waterfront! Very cool spot! Great for pics there also a few lil places to check out around here!
