Traditional Calligraphy Experience Offers a Peaceful Journey into Japanese Culture

Under expert guidance, participants learn the fundamentals of brush calligraphy by carefully studying and recreating traditional Chinese characters. As part of the lesson, each guest is also introduced to the Japanese phonetic representation of their own name, providing a personal connection to the language and allowing them to practice writing it with authentic calligraphy techniques.

A memorable highlight of the experience is decorating a traditional wooden rice scoop, known as a shamoji, with your name in Japanese.
