Begin your delicious journey into Italian cuisine with a traditional breakfast at La Pasticceria Siciliana, where you’ll watch a fresh cannolo being made right before your eyes and enjoy it with a perfectly brewed cappuccino. Continue your food adventure at Pizzarium, the legendary Roman pizzeria recommended by Anthony Bourdain and loved by locals. Renowned baker Gabriele Bonci, the “Michelangelo of pizza,” offers over 80 daily variations featuring seasonal ingredients — from creamy mozzarella and potato to sweet fig with prosciutto. Then, head to La Nicchia Café, a gourmet food shop brimming with authentic Italian delicacies. Enjoy a premium tasting of cheeses, aged balsamic vinegars, olive oils, and cured meats, including Parmigiano Reggiano, Gorgonzola Dolce, and Pecorino Romano — all paired beautifully with D.O.C.G. Falanghina wine.
The journey continues through the lively Trionfale Market, where the heart of Rome’s food culture thrives. Meet local vendors, taste fresh buffalo mozzarella, melanzane parmigiana, and porchetta, and discover Italy’s finest natural wines. Then, delight in a homemade pasta feast at Al Giardino del Gatto e la Volpe, savoring ravioli, gnocchi, and Vermentino wine. End on a sweet note at Fatamorgana, an artisanal gelateria where you’ll learn to spot authentic gelato and choose from over 60 all-natural flavors. With more than 20 food and wine tastings throughout, this experience offers an unforgettable, authentic taste of Rome’s culinary soul.

Everything imaginable from fresh food, fresh fruit and vegetables, household goods, electronics , to Butcher shops, and cheese shops., The Fish mongers bakeries an unbelievable experience world. You will spend at least several hours exploring. It's a ten minute walk from the Ottaviano, Metro stop if you're going to the Vatican.
