The beach is clean, well-kept, and has a peaceful, local atmosphere without the heavy crowds found at bigger destinations. Parking is available, though a permit is typically required during peak season. Whether you’re looking to spend the day on the water, have a picnic with friends, or just unwind with a beautiful view, Foster Memorial Beach is a hidden gem that captures the laid-back charm of the Hamptons.
Foster Beach is a beach with calm water. Good for swimming laps. It’s also dog friendly. Great place to photograph Osprey. You don’t have to be a resident of the town of Southampton which is nice but parking is $40.
BEAUTIFUL BEACH!!! VERY calm very peaceful...super clean...it was worth the 2 hr drive and the $40 parking... the only reason why i dont give it full 5 stars its bc its very shelly wayyyyy to many shells so make sure u take watershoes but otherwise BEAUTIFUL!!!!!
Stopped by this beach in late September, very calm and enticing water. Would be worth to return in summer for a daily beach permit.
Quite a nice beach in the bay with lots of seashells of all kinds piled up along the shoreline. Plenty of parking spaces and very useful restrooms (closed during the winter season). Beautiful seaweeds that look like spaghetti. Good place for a short walk.
