This is by far the worst resort I’ve ever stayed in. Unfortunately, there are countless downsides and absolutely no positives. The rooms are tiny, recently renovated but completely lacking in character. They smell damp and are not soundproof at all, so you can hear every noise from your neighbors. The entire place is overcrowded and extremely noisy, so if you’re looking for some peace and relaxation, this is definitely not the right place. It’s especially popular with large Indian families, which only adds to the overall noise and chaos. The facilities are far from what you’d expect from a supposed 4-star resort. The beach loungers are made of old, rusty plastic, and the mattresses are just as bad—worn out, broken, and dirty. On top of that, the food is terrible across all restaurants, including the so-called Italian one. I’m really disappointed, as the price of this resort is in no way justified by the quality or service provided. Not only was it a huge letdown, but it honestly feels like a scam. Absolutely not recommended!

I gotta say, staying at Southern Palm Beach Resort with the family turned out to be one of the best decisions we've made in years. From the moment we pulled up, the lush palm trees and that stunning beach view had us hooked. Our suite was spacious enough for all of us, two bedrooms, a little kitchenette where we whipped up quick snacks, and a balcony perfect for watching sunsets with a glass of wine. The staff were super friendly, always ready with tips on local spots or helping with the kids' activities like building sandcastles or joining the resort's treasure hunt. We loved the all-inclusive vibe; breakfast buffets with everything from pancakes to tropical fruits, and dinners that felt gourmet without being stuffy. One evening, we caught a live music show by the pool, and the whole family danced like no one was watching. It wasn't perfect, WiFi was spotty in some areas – but the overall relaxation and fun made up for it big time. Highly recommend for families wanting to unplug and recharge!

Our stay was a nightmare. For four days straight, the hotel blasted Indian electronic music and a DJ shouting “make some noise” from morning until after midnight. Apparently, this hotel frequently hosts large Indian weddings — and they do so at the expense of all other guests. Beyond the nonstop noise (9 AM–1 AM), the staff were shockingly unprofessional and often rude. With a few exceptions, everyone seemed frustrated and untrained. One waiter drank from my glass to “check” that my juice had gone off. Another took our order while chewing on a pen cap, spitting across the table as he shouted to colleagues. These were not isolated incidents — we had multiple similar experiences. The food was equally disappointing. The so-called signature barbecue restaurant served meat so overcooked that even the chef struggled to carve it. Many guests left their plates untouched, we left that meal still hungry. There’s also an obsession with boiling things into horrendous stews. The food is genuinely akin to a 2-star hotel in rural Kenya supercharged with the power of boiling. After four exhausting days, we checked out and moved to another hotel — instantly realizing how bad things had been. If you’re looking for rest, relaxation, or even basic hospitality, do not stay here.
