We booked the cooking experience with Tania (and we will be booking again when we return next year). It is far more than cooking*. You get to go shopping at the local market**, pick out all the fresh ingredients you will use, and learn about the flavors of the region. The menu was crafted as we talked our way through the market. Tania added several items so we could taste them, even though they were not part of our menu. At the cooking experience we were offered delicious drinks and was amounted to a six course meal. The food was delicious and Tania was wonderful to talk to. Everything about the experience felt personal and that made it feel even more special. We highly recommend this experience, especially if you want an excursion that no one has else has. *We also went on the tequila experience, but we are not sure if this is always an option so we say go for it when it is offered. Worth it! ** The map may send you to the wrong address. Be sure to search for Mercado Municipal.

I chose this particular cooking class because they offered a vegan option. We met Tonia at the local market and she was very informative regarding local fruits and vegetables. I did not participate in viewing the meat section of the market. We stopped for fresh tortillas before making our way to a home in Cozumel. Tonia was an excellent teacher and went out of her way to accommodate my vegan choices. We made a number of different authentic Mexican dishes and washed them down with a true homemade Margaritas. It was a very lovely experience!

Booked with Jeep Riders Cozumel after our first booking canceled on us for a family event. Highly recommend Jeep Riders Cozumel! Our driver was Pancho. He was knowledgeable about the area and very friendly. We went to the Jade caverns and went for a swim. We also paid extra to go to the Mayan ruins (get the tour guide!) and a few beach stops. The included fajitas were delicious. We saw lots of animals like crocodiles, fish, iguanas, and more.

We had the best day! Our tour guide was Ricardo. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. We saw so many things! Turtle nests, iguana, crocodile, fruit bats, fish, stingray, urchins, lobster, sea star and more. The fajitas for lunch were delicious! Cenote is very cool! I recommend wearing closed toe water shoes and you’ll be ready for everything. You can wear flip flops if you don’t have better shoes. Ricardo is awesome and Cozumel is beautiful!

My mother and I booked Jeep Riders Cozumel for a day off the cruise ship. Directions to the meet up point were great (make sure to account for any time zone changes). Sergio was the perfect gentleman and took us all around the island including a tequila tour, beachside, landmarks, local vanilla shopping, chocolate tastings, and our highlight was lunch by the beach at Miami with handmade drinks and authentic cuisine. Sergio had water and beer ready for us in a cooler and waited at every stop for us. Wherever we wanted to go, he took us! The Jeep was great! Cold A/C, leather seats and very clean. This was truly the highlight of our trip and we will book with Sergio again!
