Todd gave me five-star service—detailed instructions, seat fixes, and offered up a nice cold bottle of water before sending me on my way to explore Alexandria on such a beautiful Saturday! The E-bike ( my first time riding one of these) was powerful, with responsive pedal assist and a handy throttle for hills and take-offs! The adjustable bars and comfortable seat made the ride exceptional! It was the best bike ride I could have had. I will be back to finish the Mt Vernon trail! Thanks again, Todd!
We’re locals but decided to try the Pedego (Bunch Bike) with our 3-year-old — and it was amazing! So much fun for the whole family. The bike was easy to use, super comfortable, and perfect for riding with a little one. The service was also top-notch — kind, welcoming, and they explained everything clearly before we took off. Highly recommend if you're looking for a fun family activity or want to test out the Bunch Bike before buying!
My sister and I really enjoyed our Pedego bikes - rented from Todd at the Alexandria Lee St. location. Todd gave us detailed instructions on using the bikes, fixed our seats, added an extra storage bag for our water bottles, explained the directions and sent us on our way to Mt. Vernon. We chose to ride on a Monday and were pleased at how quiet the trail was. The bikes had plenty of battery power and the pedal assist was responsive. The throttle came in handy on a couple of steeper sections of the trail and starting off from the 4-way stops on Lee St. I especially liked the adjustable handle bars and the comfortable seat. Couldn't have had a better ride. Thank you, Todd!
Pedego Electric Bikes were able to help me knock something off my bucket list. I have wanted to bike on the GW Parkway forever, enjoying the lovely views of the Potomac with our Nations Capital gleaming in the background. We had never road electric bikes before and I may never go back. The staff was helpful & courtesy while getting us on the road. We would definitely go back or recommend them to others.
Was this a scam?? Paid a week in advance. They have a 24 hr cancellation policy which I understood and honored. 20 minutes before we were scheduled to pick up bikes, they called and said they were "out of bikes" We had our entire day planned and they could care less that we "RESERVED" 4 bikes. The WORST PART .. I have not received a refund after many phone calls and emails. Makes me think it's a scam?? I had to go to my bank to report this issue. I hardly ever give reviews.. so just a heads up.
Todd was incredible in helping cultivate a great experience for me. He took extra care to show me how the bike worked and get me headed on the right path. I rode the trail from Old Town Alexandria, VA to Mount Vernon on a warm day in March and it was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend Pedego for bike rentals. I will definitely be renting from them again!
