Eden Mill Cask Mastery Tour Offers Exclusive Behind-the-Scenes Whisky Experience in St Andrews

The Cask Mastery Distillery Tour at Eden Mill presents a private and highly tailored journey into the world of premium whisky craftsmanship. Designed for individuals, couples, or small groups, the experience begins with convenient pickup from St Andrews or nearby areas before arriving at the distillery for a warm welcome.

Guests are introduced to the distillery experience with a refreshing whisky highball before gaining exclusive access to the Distiller’s Lab. Here, expert distillers guide visitors through the balance of tradition and innovation that defines Eden Mill’s single malt production.

The tour continues with a premium tasting session featuring new make spirit, Signature Single Malt, and the limited-edition Art of St Andrews whisky. A highlight of the experience is a rare opportunity to sample whisky directly from a maturing cask inside the warehouse.

The visit concludes at the Lookout Bar, where guests enjoy a handcrafted cocktail paired with an artisanal cheeseboard while overlooking the Eden Estuary. This final setting provides a relaxed and scenic end to a comprehensive whisky experience.

Bought as birthday present for my sister. Gin experience was excellent. Olivia was brilliant and very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.

We walked in hoping to join a gin tasting and they took us even though nobody else was booked on so they weren’t expecting to run it (which in hindsight we were shocked by given how good it was) The gin was delicious, Alice was super knowledgeable and lovely, and we got a really generous amount of gin for the price. She found us somewhere else to sit when we were still finishing off our gin by the time of the next tasting (because there was so much of it!) and we didn’t feel rushed out at any point. Overall a highlight of our trip to Edinburgh and hopefully will go and visit their new distillery when it opens - would recommend the gin tasting to anyone who likes gin.

Really fun experience. Gorgeous, cosy quintessentially Edinburgh underground vibe. We did the coastal gin flight. Andre was super friendly and engaging, and I genuinely came away with a greater appreciation of gin. I really loved being able to see and smell the actual ingredients and connecting them to the flavour of the gin. We got to try some really great gins, and a lot of it for the price!
