Embark on an unforgettable day of exploration, showcasing the natural beauty and rich culture of Fiji. This tour departs from major Nadi hotels, including the Fiji Marriott Resort, Intercontinental Fiji Golf Resort, and Double Tree, providing a comfortable and scenic experience for all guests.

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your resort or hotel at 8:30 AM in a modern, airconditioned vehicle. Throughout your journey, your experienced driver andn guide will share fascinating insights into the destinations you'll visit and the cultural significance of each stop.

The first highlight of the tour is a visit to a local school, where you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the Fijian education system. Engage with students and teachers to experience a slice of everyday life in Fiji. This cultural exchange offers a unique opportunity to connect with the island’s vibrant community.

Next, you'll make your way to the Sand Dunes of Fiji, one of the country’s most stunning natural landmarks. These towering dunes offer magnificent views of the surrounding landscapes and coastline. Take a leisurely stroll, enjoy the peaceful surroundings, and capture the beauty of Fiji's untouched nature.

The scenic drive continues through the Sigatoka Valley, often referred to as the Salad Bowl of Fiji due to its fertile lands that produce much of the country’s fresh produce. As you pass lush farmlands and dramatic landscapes, you’ll witness the stunning variety of fruits and vegetables grown in this agricultural heartland.

A visit to the Pottery Village offers a glimpse into traditional Fijian craftsmanship. Watch as local artisans demonstrate the ancient art of pottery making, showcasing techniques that have been passed down through generations. During your visit, you will also participate in a Fijian Kava tasting, an important part of the island’s culture, where you can experience the ceremonial drink in an authentic setting.

Beautiful place for a short hike. There is a large colony of flying foxes that can be seen hanging in the trees. The view from the top of the dunes is well worth the walk. Best to avoid walking in the heat of the day, as large parts of the walk are out in the open.

We enjoyed our visit to this national park. We did the 1 hour loop trail, knowing it would take us 2 hours anyway. Why? Our children spent an hour on the beach making huts with driftwood! We had so much fun, so this was a great family outing. The view is stunning. You only see the sand dunes in a distance when walking the short trail. You walk through the dunes with vegetation, which we also enjoyed. On our way back you walk though the woods with thousands bats hanging in the trees. I recommend you walk the route following the landmarks in order. This way you will walk downhill on loose sand instead of uphill. The park highly recommends not to walk in-between 11:00-15:00 because of the extreme heat. But it's doable during dry season when the temps are lower and you often have cloudy days. You can come here with a taxi from Sigatoka or take the white public bus ($0,91 per ticket).

We did the shortest loop walk through the forest to the beach and thoroughly enjoyed it. The sand dunes are beautiful, but make sure you go early in the morning or wear close toed shoes if you plan on being there for awhile- we went at 12:00 and the sand was so hot! Gorgeous beach to walk along and the bats in the Mahokoni trees were adorable

Our visit to the Sigatoka Sand Dunes was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the tour guide at the front desk made us feel welcome — friendly, informative, and genuinely helpful. We chose to do the walk without a guide, and it was perfectly manageable. The trails are clearly marked, and signs along the way helped keep us on track. We opted for the longer 2-hour loop, and it was absolutely worth it — the epic scenery of rolling dunes, coastal forest, and sea views made it feel like a different world. The kids had a great time too, discovering insects and plants, and finding little surprises along the way, like the woven tree-hugging figures tucked in the forest (a bit spooky, but cool and memorable!). It was a great mix of nature, adventure, and learning. Highly recommend starting early to avoid the heat, bringing water, hats, and good walking shoes. Overall, this was one of the most unique and beautiful nature experiences in Fiji — perfect for families or groups.
