Start your journey from Dublin and head north into Northern Ireland in comfort. Your first stop is Killowen Small Batch Distillery, nestled in the Mourne Mountains, where you’ll enjoy a ‘meet the maker’ tour and tasting of premium Irish whiskey. If unavailable, visit the nearby Hinch Distillery in Killaney Estate.

After lunch, continue to County Down for a visit to Rademon Distillery, home of Shortcross Gin and Single Malt Whiskey, or take a ferry to the Ards Peninsula to Echlinville Distillery, Northern Ireland’s first newly licensed distillery in over 125 years, offering a field-to-glass experience and whiskey or gin tasting. Alternatively, visit The Copeland Distillery in Donaghadee. In the evening, check in at your 5-star hotel in Belfast and enjoy the city’s vibrant dining and pub scene.

The next day, drive along the scenic Causeway Coastal Route, stopping at Ballymena and the historic Londonderry Arms Hotel for a coffee or Irish Coffee. Visit the UNESCO-listed Giant’s Causeway and explore its iconic basalt columns before enjoying lunch nearby. Conclude the day at Old Bushmills Distillery, the world’s oldest licensed distillery, with a guided tour and tastings of exclusive Single Malts. After some shopping at the Bushmills store, relax on the return drive to Dublin, arriving downtown in the evening.

I really enjoyed doing the distillery tour with Jim. His knowledge was encyclopaedic and I was very impressed by his passion for resurrecting the Irish distillery tradition. He introduced me to a whole new way of tasting and appreciating gin. Having visited some of the big name wineries in Napa, Rioja and Bordeaux I can honestly say this was right up there as a learning (and tasting!) experience. I am planning to return with other family members very soon.

So I met Alan on my shift in Tesco and got chatting about the strawberry gin and also the vodka, just so happened I was having a cocktail party that evening and guess who came home with a bottle of wild Atlantic way vodka to make french martinis that afternoon, thanks for the info Alan the cocktails were delicious and I'm looking forward to getting my hands on a bottle of your Island men Irish whiskey when I come across it, thanks,, So enough of the vodka managed to survive so I could enjoy another french martini tonight 🍸

So far, I’ve had the Wild Atlantic Gin, the Vodka and now the Strawberry and Elderflower Gin. This most recent product from Brian and Jim is phenomenal. I LOVE IT! very much a new firm favourite. Will be perfect as a summer drink. Everyone should have a bottle in the cupboard. Not only is it amazing, but also supports a small local family run business. Looking forward to seeing what comes in the future.

An amazing afternoon! Thank you so much Jim and Brian. My friend and I attended the Gin school and we had the best afternoon, it was just so much fun, would highly recommend! Jim and Brian are so passionate about what they do and deliver the workshop so well in such a friendly and informative way. The venue is so unique and stunning, and the lunch was first class too. A really enjoyable day and we were so impressed with the finished bottle of gin we got to take home, it was incredible. Jim and Brian have something very special here, definitely check it out
