5 hour guided tour of Buenos Aires. Guide was Veronica & driver was Jorge. This was superb! We landed at 5.30am & were picked up at 9am sharp. We boldly booked this tour to maximise our few days in this beautiful city of contrasts. The stops were well planned, felt well-timed (never rushed) & we had enough but never too much information. Plaza de Mayo & the Cathedral were a delight. La Boca was fun (even for those of us not into football!) La Camenita was a colourful joy - local artists, fun street scenes & the waterfront too. I loved our empanada cafe lunch, & glass of Malbec set that off very nicely indeed. The afternoon was a lovely mix - Floralis Generica (the striking metal flower statue in a park), the modern bridge on the river, Puerto Madero (good to see the river & green areas - I wish I'd had more days to visit there properly), smart Palermo, Centro.....all such contrasts. I loved the huge bookshop set in a beautiful old theatre. I'll have missed some things out, but this was a lovely day & highlighted areas to revisit too. We went on our own later that afternoon to Recoleta Cemetery to see Eva Peron's grave - well worth a short visit after seeing the gates to the cemetery on the tour. Thank you for a wonderful day!

My one day tour from Buenos Aires to an estancia (ranch) outside the city was excellent, and a great exposure to what life outside the big city in the pampas' gaucho country. Our group was small (8 people), and the trip was less than two hours and very comfortable. The visit included welcome empanadas, optional horseback riding, a big barbeque with plenty of wine, and folkloric music and dancing on the lawns and everyone was very gracious. My one recommendation is to be sure of the estancia you're choosing. The photos on the website showed a classical historic main building, which is what I was looking for, but when the trip was confirmed the photos shoed a different ranch. It turns out that there's a basic tour and a premium tour that costs only a few dollars more and I'd been booked in the basic one and had to switch. It wasn't a problem but look carefully at your options. I highly recommend the premium trip to the estancia El Ombu.

Our guide Ailin was welcoming and enthusiastic and keen to make sure we had a good time. She pointed out things of interest as we went along on the 1 hour 'navigation' to Tigre. The trip through the river was interesting however when we reached Tigre there wasn't all that much to see, just the market where half the stalls were closed because it was a week day, and some very pretty gardens. Ailin said that things were much busier on a weekend.

This tour to the gaucho ranch was absolutely incredible! Everything ran smoothly from the time we were picked up from our hotel until we were dropped off. The stop in the town of San Antonio de Areco was well worth the visit and we were given ample time to explore and take pictures. When we arrived at the gaucho ranch, we were immediately greeted with wine, soft drinks, water or hot tea/coffee AND the most delicious empanadas we've had on our trip to South America! The horseback riding was lots of fun even for novice riders like ourselves. There's also the option to ride a horse drawn carriage for those who prefer to not ride a horse. The meal was delicious! There was an endless amount of food and the wine and soft drinks were bottomless. The after lunch entertainment was superb! The music, the dancing and the Horse Whisperer performance was outstanding! We loved every minute of it! The only negative to the day was it had to end! I have to give special mention to Sofia, our tour guide. She was world class! Her English was very, very good so we could understand everything she said. The information she gave us was very interesting and pertinent to what we were seeing and going to do without becoming boring. She is the sweetest young lady and she engaged in and participated with us like it was her first time, although she's done it all dozens of times. She made a wonderful day even better! Sofia is an outstanding representative of this tourist company! I highly recommend this tour for a lovely, fun and relaxing day in the Argentina countryside! Thank you for a beautiful day!

Great city tour with great tour guide. She could speak English very well. In a short time, the tour guide took me and other people around the city and saw many spectacular places. The city was very clean, beautiful and well organized. The bus driver and the pickup/drop-off driver were good, especially the pickup-dropoff driver, he was very fun and friendly. The local food choripán was good too.
