Two-Day Transylvania Tour from Bucharest Blends Royal Castles, Saxon Cities, and Dracula Legends

A two-day guided journey from Bucharest is offering travelers an immersive introduction to Transylvania’s cultural heritage, combining royal landmarks, medieval cities, and legendary castles set against the backdrop of the Carpathian Mountains. The itinerary connects Sinaia, Brașov, Sibiu, and Bran into a structured exploration of Romania’s historical heartland.

The experience begins in Sinaia, known as the “Pearl of the Carpathians,” where visitors explore the 17th-century Sinaia Monastery before continuing to Peleș Castle. Once a royal summer residence, the castle is widely regarded as one of Europe’s most impressive palaces, noted for its architectural diversity, ornate interiors, and early adoption of modern amenities such as electricity and central heating.

The journey continues to Brașov, a medieval Saxon city where cobbled streets, the Council Square, and the Black Church reflect centuries of urban development and cultural exchange.
