We hired the party tent for a family birthday and we all had the best day. We paid for electricity so we could play music. The outdoor games that were included went down amazingly with everyone. The park is very clean and well looked after. The facilities are great. Toilets were clean. Cafe was great. Plenty on offer for food and drink in the park. Lots to do for everyone. Dog friendly. A great family day out.

Absolutely loved Craigtoun Park! Such a great place for a relaxed day out. The park is free to enter and there’s loads of space to walk around, sit and chill, or let the kids run wild. Beautiful gardens, open fields, and even some woodland areas to explore. The play areas are brilliant – trampolines, zip line, swings, slides – all in good condition. There’s also a little train (Rio Grande) and a tractor ride (Puffin’ Billy), which were great fun. Some of the attractions are seasonal and you have to pay for them, but it’s totally worth it if you’re there during the main season. The café was a nice surprise – good selection of hot food, snacks and drinks, and not overpriced at all. Toilets were clean and easy to access, and the whole place felt really well looked after. Staff were super friendly too. Only small downside was that the boating lake is closed this year while they work on restoring the little Dutch Village in the middle, but honestly there’s still so much to do that it didn’t matter. Great for families, couples, or even just a peaceful walk. Definitely recommend visiting if you’re near St Andrews!

First time I had been back in over 35 years. Brought back so many great memories. It’s such a beautiful park and the garden were in Bloom. It’s a shame that Dutch Village was closed for refurbishment but it didn’t spoil the enjoyment. Only reason I’m giving three stars and actually I would have given two stars would’ve been for the catering. The café was pretty awful. The coffee was not nice at all. We did not finish that and the prices for what you were getting were overinflated. My mother had a toastie That was very basic and I had ordered a chicken mayo sandwich which was so disgusting and bland. I took a bite out of it and could not finish it. The mayonnaise was on soft white bread (no option other than cheap white pan bread) leaking all over the place. It was more like a mayonnaise sandwich. I feel some attention needs to be made to the food area as it really is a disappointment to what was otherwise a lovely day out. In summary, I would recommend you bring your own food and drink with you.
