Schooner Trip Only Ilha dos Frades, Leaving Salvador-Bahia.

The tour begins with the departure of the escuna (schooner) from the Nautical Terminal of Salvador, setting sail toward the beautiful Frades Island. As you cruise through the stunning Bay of All Saints, enjoy panoramic views of the Fort of Saint Marcelo, the Salvador skyline from the sea, and the scenic Itapagipe Peninsula, home to landmarks such as the Fort of Monte Serrat and the Church of Bonfim. The 1 hour and 40-minute journey offers a serene and picturesque experience on calm waters. Upon arrival at Frades Island, you’ll find tranquil, crystal-clear waters perfect for swimming and relaxation. Enjoy a refreshing drink or light snack while you unwind on the golden sands of the island’s tip, Our Lady of Guadalupe. A short climb up to the chapel rewards you with breathtaking views of the bay and surrounding nature, creating the perfect moment to capture memories.

We stay on the island for about five hours, allowing plenty of time to relax, swim, or simply soak in the peaceful atmosphere. At 3:00 PM, your guide will call for boarding to begin the return journey to Salvador. On the way back, you can sit back and admire the spectacular sunset over All Saints Bay, a truly unforgettable way to end your day. Please note that the tour must be booked at least 12 hours before departure. The tour price does not include the Salvador terminal boarding fee, entrance fee to Frades Island, lunch, drinks, or snacks.
