An impressive and iconic monument that really stands out in Phoenix Park 🌳. Tall, elegant, and full of history, it’s a great spot to stop, admire the details, and grab a few photos 📸😌.

The Phoenix Monument near Ashtown in Dublin is a lovely little landmark tucked inside Phoenix Park, one of the biggest city parks in Europe. It was built back in the 1700s by Lord Chesterfield and features a tall stone column topped with a phoenix bird rising from the flames — a cool symbol of rebirth and renewal. It’s close to Ashtown Castle and the Visitor Centre, so it’s easy to stop by while exploring the park. The area around it is peaceful and open, perfect for a relaxed walk, a quiet break, or even a picnic on a sunny day. It’s not one of Dublin’s major tourist spots, but it definitely adds a bit of charm and history to the park. ⭐ Rating: 4/5 – A calm, pretty spot with a touch of history, great to visit while wandering through Phoenix Park.

Beautiful well maintained natural park inside of Dublin. The roundabout where the Monument is something I have never seen there's embassies and government buildings around it. Beautiful walk we sat and watched the our surroundings and slow moving cars go by whilst having our snack. Such a relaxing place. You see lots of people running/jogging.

The Phoenix Monument is located in the middle of Phoenix Park. It is a Corinthian column with a Phoenix mounted at the top. It was built by Lord Chesterfield in 1747, and the monument is the oldest part of the park. It is considered to be a very important part of the park's history. Just a fun fact, there are also many deer that call the park home. I highly recommend a visit to the Phoenix Monument in Phoenix Park if you visit Dublin, Ireland.

Beautiful monument at the center of the park with the irish presidential house on one side and US ambassador house on the other side... If you have luck you can get to see the deer's jumping from one side of the walk way to the other side... Very green and beautiful picture scenes all over the park with blooming flowers.
