My wife and I just completed the undiscovered ring of Kerry tour with Ester. This trip and experience went beyond our expectations. Ester was so kind, knowledgeable, and fun to spend the day with. We had the most amazing day touring the Ring of Kerry with Ester from Kerry Experience Tours! Her warm, bubbly personality and deep local knowledge made the entire experience feel personal and unforgettable. The vehicle was spotless and super comfortable, and Ester took us off the typical tourist route to discover hidden gems and breathtaking views we never would’ve found on our own. Every stop was thoughtfully chosen and full of charm. We laughed, we learned, and we truly felt the magic of Kerry thanks to Ester. The Kerry Experience Tour by Ester was so wonderful. The best private tour available in County Kerry, for sure. I booked the “Undiscovered Ring of Kerry” tour, and I am so glad I did. It was absolutely fantastic. Ester drove us all over the Skellig Ring, onto to Valentia Island, and many other places! She drove us places that I didn’t know a van could get to! We were able to stop for a picnic lunch at the Kerry Cliffs, and didn’t have to walk the entire way to the cliffs from the welcome booth. The Kerry Cliffs were amazingly beautiful and so grand; we did not feel at all like we missed out on the Cliffs of Moher. I am so grateful that Ester took us there! And you can see the Skelligs from the cliffs! (By the way, Ester knows a lot of great Star Wars-The Force Awakens filming trivia, as well.) Ester was so wonderfully accommodating: She made sure to stop in Portmagee so my brother and I could purchase proper Star Wars-themed Skellig t-shirts, she made sure to stop at St. Finian’s Holy Well near St. Finian’s Bay for us, and then also made a special stop at a really nice woolen mills in Sneem for my sister-in-law. Ester was also extra attentive to my elderly mother: She would assist my mom in and out of the van, and walk her to vista points, while my brother and I would scamper off to take pictures. She was so kind. Ester was a brilliant tour guide, and just a terrific person. So nice, funny, knowledgeable, and she absolutely loves Ireland. Ester welcomed me and my family with genuine friendliness, and we all just felt like she was part of the family for the day. I hope that we can take another tour from her! I can’t imagine going back to southwestern Ireland and not taking a Kerry Experience Tour. If you’re not booking a Kerry Experience Tour, than you’re not getting the best tour. Wonderful time with Gerrit of Kerry Experience Tours! We did a private tour for 6 people in the very spacious and comfortable new van. Gerrit proposed the undiscovered tour to avoid the big tour bus routes and we enjoyed his expertise and vast knowledge of the area. Most of the sites were breathtaking and the tight roads were expertly navigated. The rate for the private tour was very reasonable and we would highly recommend Kerry Experience Tours if you want the best experience! Cheers!!
Perfect Answer for Multi-Generational Trip We have just returned from a wonderful trip to the Southwest coast of Ireland. The two greatest things about our trip were the beautiful views we enjoyed and our guide Ester who made it possible for us to see and experience the beauty and culture of County Kerry. Ester picked us up at our hotel in Killarney each day and delivered us to the train station at the end of our tour on the last day. She had a very comfortable (new) Ford van making the multiple on/off stops very easy. There were four in our family group ranging from school age to retired. She was so delightful and accommodating. Ester and her husband own and operate Kerry Experience Tours located near Killarney. There were so many highlights to our trip, it would be impossible to say which was the greatest, including a sheep dog herding demonstration, driving the Ring of Kerry, traveling to the Dingle peninsula and taking a ferry to an adjacent island. Ester provided all of the background and history of the sites we visited which made the trip so much more interesting. She is an engaging conversationalist with a very pleasant personality. Because of her expertise we were able to see many more places in addition to the itinerary we had developed. She was generous in her suggestions of what we might want to do and see both before and during our touring. We found her very willing to adapt to anything we might prefer on the spur of the moment. She is a very careful and experienced driver. At no time did we have any safety concerns in spite of the very narrow roads. With Ester’s tourism license we were able to get much closer to some of the spectacular views, like the edge of the Cliffs of Kerry. In summary, we highly recommend Ester and her company and are contemplating our next trip to Ireland with them.
