The Divinity School is stunning with its detailed ceiling and historic atmosphere. As a Harry Potter fan it is extra special since several scenes were filmed here, making it feel like stepping right into the movies. A must see spot in Oxford that blends history, beauty, and a touch of magic

The Divinity School in Oxford is an extraordinary example of medieval architecture, dating back to the 15th century. It’s known for its stunning vaulted ceiling and intricate stonework. Although I didn’t go inside, visitors can explore this historic site by paying an entrance fee. The Divinity School is one of Oxford’s oldest university buildings and offers a remarkable glimpse into the university’s rich past. It’s also famous for its connection to the Harry Potter films, where it was used as the Hogwarts Infirmary and the location for Professor McGonagall’s dance lesson in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

A lot of the schools were not available to visit, unfortunately, as there were exams in progress. This , however, was . Not a disappointment. Such beautiful stonework. Such history. The past becomes far more real and palpable in a room like this.

absolutely recommendable, very good tour to get to know Oxford in a pleasant atmosphere, our tour guide Helen explained everything in detail with many interesting details, we particularly liked that we could relax everywhere and she took us to places that were not so crowded, it was very interesting to see a college from the inside, we spent a very nice day there

I did enjoy the architecture inside. Some people finds this place just an empty place. But if you put on detail, you can sit down and enjoy the moment of enjoying the latest gothic architecture. You may see the difference of detail of the pattern at the top. It is very interesting. So, it is still nice to see , even you may need only like 5-10mins.
