Lyndsay gave us an absolutely fantastic tour called Pilgrims, Plague and Peasants Revolt. It was part of the Canterbury Festival and focussed on the early Medieval period/14th century. If you are able to book her and get this specific tour, it is well worth it. She's a fantastic guide. Very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and entertaining and this specific tour is her specialty. Was really good! Thank you!!!! 🙏

Jane gave a great tour, stopping at the sites, and answering questions as we went. Highly recommend, since a guide can point out things we would miss otherwise! We picked up tickets from the Library.

I can really recommend Canterbury Tourist Guides. We have booked our tour for +- 100 students for the tenth time, which says enough. In short, friendly staff concering all communication is always through email. Quick responses, always willing to think along. The tour(s) itself/themselves is/are a great way to get to know more about Canterbury and its history. Even after 10 years, I/we as teachers still come across new information. A big compliment to all the guides that we have met during these past 10 years. Our students always love this tour, we really recommend it. Go and see for yourself!

I contacted Canterbury Tourist Guides to see if they would be able to arrange for a private guided full day just for one. They were able to organize this and I had an extraordinary full day seeing all of the best the town had to offer. My guide, Pauline, was excellent. I hope to make my way back to Kent to spend more time delving into Canterbury's ample offerings. Highly recommend!

Our Canterbury tour with Shawn (unsure of the spelling of her name) was a memorable experience. Having lived in the area for 40 years, she was incredibly knowledgeable and shared insights at a perfect pace. We joined the 11:00 tour and arrived early to take a few pictures, pleasantly surprised by how few people were around on such a beautiful Saturday morning. However, we did face some challenges during the tour. When we started at the meeting place, it was difficult for us to hear Shawn due to a person singing in the square. Throughout the tour, whenever she turned to face whatever she was talking about, we found it hard to hear her clearly. With only 12 in our group, it would have been great to have better acoustics for her engaging narratives. Overall, despite the hearing difficulties, Shawn’s passion and knowledge shone through, making it a worthwhile experience in the beautiful city of Canterbury.
