My wife and I had an amazing day! Stephen met us at the train station - took us on a walk along the white cliffs; toured Dover Castle and Canterbury Cathedral. We he recognized that I was a pilot, he suggested we divert for a Spitfire Simulator experience at the Spitfire Museum. His knowledge of the area and its history was amazing. Very personable and I highly recommend him!
We were a family of 4 adults that travel often together. We went to the white cliffs , Canterbury Cathedral, and Dover Castle . Steve was not just a guide and a driver for the day , but he was Our friend ,that was along for the experience. But the one with all the knowledge and excitement of what we were experiencing. Wow! What an awesome experience! I have been on many tours in many cities! This tour, by far, was the best one ever! We were only in Dover for one full day, and we wanted to make the most of it! I contacted Steve and inquired about a tour of Canterbury Cathedral, Dover Castle, and White Cliffs of Dover. He made sure to plan the day so we could see as much as possible. Steve is very knowledgeable of the area history. We learned so much! He was very accommodating to our needs and wishes. We even went to a local grocery store to purchase food for a picnic on the Dover Castle grounds. Steve seemed to genuinely enjoy the experience as much as we did. We meet Steve as a stranger, and by the end of the day, he was our friend. Thank you Steve for a wonderful experience! If we are ever in Dover again, we will call Steve for another tour.
We just had our Dover tour with Stephen. He is by far the best tour guide we have ever had. Our whole family enjoyed the day with him. The sights were all amazing but the guide is what makes the excursion. He is engaging, knowledgeable and even about things outside of Dover and funny. I highly recommend booking your tour with Stephen. You will not regret it. Even my hard to please daughter enjoyed it.
Stephen was a rock star! We highly reccomend him. He knew Dover like the back of his hand, and we were totally blown away with our day, my daughter said it was the best part of our trip. The sound mirror, cliffs, and the castle were awesome and there is no way we would have been able to see, do, and enjoy so much in a day without him. The Battle of Britain memorial was a powerful addition to the tour. Stephen’s insight into the historical context made the memorial, and everything else, even more impactful. Try to get lunch or peanuts and beer at "The Coast Guard” in St Margeret’s Bay, the view is amazing.
