Bliss Adventure’s guided ice climbing groups are intentionally kept small, usually accommodating 2 to 8 guests, creating a friendly and engaging environment where like-minded adventurers from around the world can meet and share the experience. For those seeking a more intimate and exclusive adventure, a private option is available, allowing your group to enjoy the ice climbing activity without any other guests joining in. Both the standard and private options share the same meeting point at Hotel Pyhätunturi, identical preparations, gear and equipment, professional guiding, and duration, ensuring a safe and enjoyable climb for all participants.
The key difference with the private option becomes clear once you reach the ice wall. Your group will have full access to the wall and its various climbing lines, with no other climbers present, offering a truly exclusive and immersive experience. Non-climbing members of your group are welcome to join at the ice wall to watch or capture photos, and bringing snacks to enjoy by the bonfire adds a memorable touch to the adventure. While the bonfire area at the base of the wall is technically a public venue, it is rarely busy, allowing your group to enjoy the warm glow and unique Arctic atmosphere in relative privacy.

We spent a wonderful time husky sledding at the farm with dogs full of energy, and the people who welcomed us, guided us with care, and shared their passion for the Alaskan huskies, the whole experience felt both thrilling and heart‑warming.”

A wonderful ice climbing lesson by Juan Pablo and Max. We learned the ropes and how to climb comfortably and confidently. These guys were very patient and very friendly. 10/5 stars if I could. Ps. Sara said she plans on going ice climbing in Germany and Austria, next time she’ll make it to the top!

Incredible experience! This was our first time ice climbing and the guides were very educational on safety and the technique to successfully climb. I am so glad we did this adventure and 1000% recommend.

We loved our experience with Bliss Adventure. Utmost professionals, caring, kind, and have a passion for what they do. They were especially accomodating to my parents in their 60s who were nervous about the activities (fatbiking and wilderness skiing) being too physically demanding. Highly recommend and would return for more adventure with them (e.g. Ice Climbing)!

What a great tour we had today with Kai. Electric fat bike are awesome, we booked the 3 hours ride to the amethyst mine. Kai was an awesome guide, took the time to explain everything to us, took cool pictures for us, helped us find the best donut in Finland, etc. The path to the mine is uphill but with the « boost » option you can climb to the top without too much energy. The mine is cool as well but the fat bike is what make the tour quite unique. Would 100% recommend! Next time we try the ice climbing for beginners :) thanks a lot
