The Tajukangas ice wall features tailored routes for smaller climbers, where neither ice axes nor crampons are required to enjoy the activity successfully. The climbing venue is easily accessible, just a 10-minute walk from Hotel Pyhätunturi, and along the way, children may even spot footprints or signs of the legendary Tajukangas Yeti. A Bliss guide will meet the clients at CAMP Kitchen & Bar, provide the necessary gear at nearby Bliss premises, and lead the group to the ice wall and lavvu, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable start to the adventure.

The specially designed children’s route includes ample hand and footholds, making it easy for kids to climb confidently. Qualified Bliss instructors belay all young climbers, who wear helmets for both safety and the added spirit of adventure. Guides supervise the activity, explain safety measures, and share exciting stories about the history and mysterious habitats of Tajukangas.
