University of Colorado Boulder Campus Adventure

The University of Colorado Boulder has been transformed into an exciting outdoor mystery adventure, offering a unique way to explore the campus while engaging in a thrilling storyline. Our app combines the fun of a scavenger hunt with the clever challenges of an escape room, guiding participants to nine iconic campus locations. The adventure is centered around the disappearance of Chip the Buffalo, CU Boulder’s beloved mascot, and it’s up to you, as a member of the Flatiron Sleuths, to bring him home. Team up with your trusty Basset Hound, Archie, and follow the trail of clues while visiting landmarks such as Norlin Library, Macky Auditorium, and the Buffalo Statue, all while learning fascinating facts and trivia about the campus.

Participants can expect to walk approximately 3 miles as they solve puzzles, track down clues, and restore campus morale. The experience can be enjoyed solo or in groups, with a typical completion time of around 90 minutes, allowing you to go at your own pace. While the adventure is immersive and interactive, it is important to note that it is not wheelchair-friendly due to the hilly terrain of the campus. This engaging activity combines problem-solving, exploration, and learning, creating an unforgettable way to experience the University of Colorado Boulder.
