The view is amazing. You can see the whole city of Soroca from this spot. But beware, you’ll have to walk up like 600 steps, and it is quite tiring. On the way to the candle, there are a few spots to stop and take a breather, also the steps are marked at each intervals of 50. Overall, if you are a tourist, i definetly recommend you to stop by the candle and enjoy the scenic view of the river Nistru and its surroundings.

Oh not for me hiking this much high. One of the most significant buildings in the history of modern Moldova. The Candle of Gratitude" rises above the waters of the Dniester river with a great view. From the river to the top of the hill 613 steps lead up to the bell tower which is a 29.5 meter long candle. This "candle", built on a rock on the outskirts of Soroca city, is towering over the river Dniester and is classified as one of the most important buildings in the history of our modern Moldova.
