Just wow. This tour was an incredible experience from start to finish! We managed to pack so much into one day that it felt like we lived a whole lifetime in just 24 hours. We climbed a mountain for insane views, explored ancient temples, and had an amazing boat ride through the river, gliding between stunning limestone cliffs and right into caves. It was absolutely magical. And the UAZ 69 ride! That was the top. So much fun and such a cool, authentic vibe. Totally worth it! Speaking of vibes, the entire day was just one big, good vibe. Our guide Danny was the best! Super easy to talk to and genuinely funny. He created such a positive and happy atmosphere for our whole group, keeping our energy high all day.

This Army Jeep tour was absolutely incredible from start to finish. Our guide, Fred, was not only friendly and welcoming but also deeply knowledgeable. She shared fascinating history and expert insights about every location we visited, bringing Vietnam’s past and culture to life in a way that truly enriched the whole experience. The driver navigated us safely and comfortably throughout the journey, allowing us to relax and enjoy the sights. I left the tour feeling so fulfilled and with a much deeper understanding of Vietnam than I had before. What really stood out was the exceptional customer service. Fred constantly checked in to make sure everyone felt comfortable, went above and beyond to take amazing photos, and her positive, infectious energy made the whole experience even more memorable. On top of all that, her fantastic sense of humour kept us laughing the entire time, making the tour not just educational but incredibly fun too! I can’t recommend it highly enough!

Good day tour out to Ninh Binh, leaves quite early to beat some of the crowds. The jeep ride was a nice little addition I don’t commonly see listed, was cool to see some out-of-the-way villages and countryside areas. Our guide, Hannah was upbeat, friendly and knowledgable; you’ll learn a thing or two about Vietnam’s culture and history on the way as well. Recommended if you can only do a one-day tour out to this gorgeous place!

Just finished a great half-day tour of Hanoi with "Wen" the driver and David the tour guide. What a great way to get a good feeling for the city in a condensed amount of time. Wen navigated the chaotic traffic with skill and David was likeable and informative. We got to see some areas that I doubt other tourists would've experienced and we were looked after all the way. Good food and great experiences. Definitely recommended!

We came back to hanoi after three years and wanted to explore and experience some of the lesser beaten tracks. Tommy supported us to spontaneously get us a tour to the snake village. We got picked up in the hotel from our Tourguide Summer - super funny, communicative and fun person - in the classical jeep where we headed straight to the snake village. Seeing cobras upfront was not the most crazy thing we did there.. we tried the heart shot, and also all the other dishes. The owner of one of the few remaining shops was very talky and told us about all his favorite movies and really connected with us. Thanks to Summer we could ask more questions and get useful information. After the village we also strolled around the commute, had some sugar cane juice, and finished with some clams and snails in the old quarter! All in all a crazy and unforgetable experience! And again, everything went super smoothly with backstreet tours! 5/5 stars - also for Summer as tourguide!
