Your first stop is Qasr Al Muwaiji, the birthplace of the late HH Sheikh Khalifa, former UAE President. Next, explore the award-winning Al Jahili Fort, home to a permanent exhibition on the British explorer Sir Wilfred Thesiger, who crossed the Rub al-Khali (The Empty Quarter) twice in the 1940s. Visit the Al Ain Oasis, a heritage site where your guide will explain the ancient Falaj irrigation system. After a delicious lunch, head to the region’s largest camel market, then make your way to the base of Jebel Hafeet Mountain to explore the hot springs before enjoying a scenic drive back.
