An Unforgettable Experience at Nkuringo Lodge! From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, everything about our stay at Nkuringo Lodge was simply exceptional. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable — every detail clearly thought out to make guests feel at home. The service was beyond expectations: friendly, warm, attentive, and always professional. You can truly feel the genuine care and hospitality that make this place so special. The location is absolutely breathtaking — worth the entire trip on its own. Nestled in one of Uganda’s most stunning corners, it offers peace, beauty, and a sense of connection with nature that’s hard to describe in words. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team who made our stay unforgettable. Isaac and Bernard deserve a special mention for their kindness and the royal treatment they gave us — we truly felt like kings! Friday and Emma were incredible, always attentive and wonderfully professional. Morris, Morinne, and Mr. Joel — what unique and lovely people — added so much warmth to our experience. This is a magical, beautiful place, one we would 100% recommend to anyone and everyone visiting Uganda. The lodge is really beautiful, the rooms are very spacious and gorgeous too and so, soooo comfortable. The staff wow, they really go above and beyond your needs, their kindness is fantastic and they treat you as if you were family members. The food was a great surprise! Every dish is super fresh and delicious and the drinks menu is amazing too. They were super helpful in every aspect of our stay and made our Gorilla trecking a trip we will never forget! Do not skip a visit to their spa! I had one of the best massages of my life. I feel incredibly fortunate to have visited a place like this, blessed to have been a part of its history, and grateful that it will live on forever in my most cherished memories.
We stayed here for two nights. We drove from Kigali in a rental and it was worth the drive. Rogers the manager does a great job and manages the place really well. The room looked out over the Forrest and is just so nice. The gorrila trek was amazing and the lodge is a great refuge after the walk.
Our stay in this Lodge was simply delightful. The service is outstanding and our butler Friday was very attentive and friendly, with great attention to details. Our housekeeper, Sam, was also very good and made sure our room was always in perfect condition. Food was very good and views breathtaking. Highly recommended.

Nestled high in the hills near Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, the lodge offered us an experience that was both luxurious and deeply connected to nature. We were generously upgraded to a room with one of the most breathtaking views we’ve ever seen. Yes, there were a few steps to climb to get there—but every single one was worth it for the serenity, beauty, and intimacy we felt in that space. This was more than just a place to sleep. It was a place where we were seen, celebrated, and cared for in the most thoughtful ways. From the moment we arrived—greeted with warm smiles and a hand massage—we knew this stay would be something special. We had a dedicated server for every meal, which made dining feel personal and connected. By the end of our time there, he truly felt like a dear friend. But what touched us most was how the entire staff went above and beyond to honor our honeymoon. From a beautifully decorated private table, to a surprise dance performance, to a homemade cake—they made us feel deeply celebrated in the most heartfelt way. Our time in Nkuringo was part of a larger trek through Uganda and Rwanda, including hikes to see both silverback gorillas and golden monkeys—experiences that were humbling, exhilarating, and utterly unforgettable. To be able to come "home" each night to the comfort, warmth, and care of Nkuringo Gorilla Lodge made those days even more special. If you're considering where to stay for your gorilla trekking experience—stop looking. I cannot recommend Nkuringo Gorilla Lodge enough. It was an experience that left us full of awe, gratitude, and a little piece of our hearts still in the jungle.
